* MOSAIC Safeguarding Training for BCP Council Adult Social Care CareDirector users and new starters *
THIS COURSE IS FOR: ASC CareDirector users and new starters who are required to use the BCP MOSAIC Adults and relevant Safeguarding worksteps AND have already completed the Online Mosaic Introduction course, received their certificate AND have attended Navigation Training on Mosaic.
COURSE AIM: During this time, we will train you on the fundamentals of Safeguarding worksteps. Click on the attached documents to see the full course outline. Please note: this is to teach you how to use the Mosaic system, it is NOT practice training.
COURSE DELIVERY: This course event is delivered face to face, delegates will need to: * Bring their own work IT equipment, i.e. work laptop and charger (keyboard and mouse if needed). * Bring along their own hot/cold drinks and snacks - PLEASE DO NOT BRING FOOD CONTAINING NUTS AS A DELEGATE HAS A NUT ALLERGY - THANK YOU * Comply with current Covid-19 staff advice as per the BCP Council Intranet

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: * The 3 attachments provide important information for delegates accessing this training and are helpful to read prior to booking. * Due to training time constraints and our protocol (attached) if a confirmed delegate has not completed the Online Mosaic Introduction course AND Navigation Training on Mosaic, does not have the necessary IT equipment to participate fully and/or arrives after the advertised start time they will not be able to join the session and will need to rebook on a future session. |

This course is offered as 8 x 1.45 hour virtual modules.
ALL modules must be attended in sequence. Please only apply if you are able to attend all of the sessions.
The course is for social workers and associated professionals from BCP Children's Services and BCP Multi-Agency Partners.
This course addresses key issues and best practice in responding to children, particularly adolescents, who are being exploited and trafficked.

The Emotional Wellbeing Support Network offers psychological and peer supervision support for school staff as part of the ‘Wellbeing for Education Recovery” programme.
It is a response to the additional stress and pressures on education staff incurred during the pandemic and aims to ensure that all BCP teaching staff have access to a caring and containing holding space at this time.

These are aimed at all reception teachers and support staff.
These are virtual sessions and will have two broad agenda items.
Firstly, updates on national and local developments followed by exploring a key focus with input from teachers, question and answer sessions and breakout room discussions.

First Aid At Work Refresher (2Day) | Venue: Kinson Community Centre - Room 3 |

**** Available for BCP Council employees only **** PLEASE READ ALL COURSE INFORMATION IN THIS AND OTHER SECTIONS BELOW.
COVID SAFE CONTROLS - The training provider Cracking First Aid will maintain Covid-19 controls in accordance with current government guidance. A document confirming these controls will be sent with the booking confirmation email.
Please note: First Aid training has now returned to face to face delivery.
The course is designed for anyone wanting to become an accredited first aider. This qualification provides learners with skills and knowledge to deal with first aid situations in high risk work environments.
The Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (QCF) consists of two units:
1. Unit 1 - Emergency First Aid in the Workplace (EFAW)
2. Unit 2 - Recognition and Management of illness and injury in the Workplace
The course is run over 2 consecutive days, at the venue specified below.
**IMPORTANT ** We will require the following documents to be submitted to health.safety@bcpcouncil.gov.uk before the course closing date, where applicable.
1/ The Learner Registration form (attached to your confirmation email).
A valid cost code must be provided on the registration form to ensure that payment for this training can be collected. (Non attendance may be charged following consideration of the reason for non attendance)
2/ A current First Aid Needs Assessment for your Team/Area. If this training is a part of your role you will not be required to submit this document. Please indicate if this is the case in the special requirements section of the booking form.
For those delegates needing to provide this document: due to changes in our work practices this assessment should be updated regularly to encompass any changes in first aider requirements. You should be named on the assessment with the appropriate training course required.
Please obtain the assessment and cost code from your line manager.
Your place may be declined if we do not receive the required documents by the closing date.
The total course cost will range from £123 per delegate to £185 depending on the number of delegates booking a place. Max 12 min 8.
Should insufficient bookings be received the course may be cancelled. You will be notified should this occur.
Photographic ID is required for certification purposes - this may be your Council ID badge or other forms of Photo identification. |
