Domestic Abuse and MARAC (Cancelled 24/1/2022) | Venue: Interactive Online |

An online interactive course for Adult Social Care, Children's Social Care and the Independent Sector staff, that will explore the issue of Domestic Abuse.
Participants will gain a clearer understanding of the issue and explore methods of responding to it including MARAC. .
Also covers local referrals and MARAC process.
There is a £40 charge for non BCP employees.
This session will be run virtually and can be accessed at work or from home. The following is required to participate fully in this session:
•An online device (with webcam/speakers/mic) plus a reliable broadband/wi-fi connection • A quiet area
Delegates will be emailed a link to join the session closer to the course date. The link will be emailed to the email address that is on their CPD Online account. If the link needs to be emailed to a personal email address please include this in the ‘special requirements' box when requesting a place.
Delegates need to allow enough time to log on to be ready for the course to start promptly after which it will be locked. Any late arrivals will not be able to enter.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: If a delegate does not have the necessary IT equipment to participate fully, is late logging on to a session or is unable to participate on the day (please cancel booking on CPD Online), we will ask them to rebook on a future date. IMPORTANT BOOKING AND CANCELLATION INFORMATION If your organisation's terms of payment require a purchase order, please enter the PO number in the box marked ‘Special requirements' when making your booking. We will charge a full course fee for any booked delegate who gives less than seven calendar days' notice of a cancellation, or who does not attend on the day of the course.

HR Corporate - Adult Safeguarding Basic Awareness (level 2) Interactive Online | Venue: Interactive Online |

This mandatory, basic half-day course, is for BCP staff whose work brings them into frequent contact with Adults, i.e. Reception and admin staff in customer facing services, housing officers, librarians, leisure service staff, those involved in financial assessment and those with a presence in communities.
Aim: Participants will receive an overview of safeguarding adults and know their role within local processes.
This session will be run virtually and can be accessed at work or from home.
The following is required to participate fully in this session:
•An online device (with webcam/speakers/mic) plus a reliable broadband/wi-fi connection
• A quiet area
Delegates will be emailed a link to join the session closer to the course date. The link will be emailed to the email address that is on their CPD Online account. Please note: - Staff working predominantly with Adults, i.e. frontline staff, need to attend the 1/2 day 'Safeguarding Adults Awareness' course rather than this course. |

ELSA Supervision is a requirement to maintain registration on the BCP Council list of registered ELSAs. ELSAs can enrol for the most convenient group but will be expected to remain with this group and attend ALL six sessions. |
