ASC - Awareness of Sepsis Training - Interactive Online | Venue: Interactive Online |

World Sepsis Day is held on 13th September every year and is an opportunity for people to unite to fight against Sepsis as it accounts for at least 11 million deaths worldwide annually.
This half day training (2.5 hours) is for Registered Nurses, carers, care and social work staff. It aims to give candidates the knowledge and understanding of how to identify when a client has sepsis and how to respond to the red flags that are presented.
This session will be run virtually via ZOOM due to the inability to run face-to-face courses and can be accessed at work or from home.
The following is required to participate fully in this session: An online device with web cam/speakers/mic, A reliable broadband/wi-fi connection, A quiet area
Delegates will be emailed a link to join the session closer to the course date. The link will be emailed to the email address that is on their CPD Online account. If the link needs to be emailed to a personal email address, please include this in the ‘Special Requirements' box when requesting a place.
Delegates need to allow enough time to log on to be ready for the course to start promptly on time, when it will be locked. Any late arrivals will not be able to enter the training session.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: If you do not have the necessary IT equipment to participate fully, are late logging on to a session or are unable to participate on the day, then please cancel this booking on CPD Online. Please re-book on to a future date. |

*This is for new Care Staff and is not a Level 2 qualification*
*An update is required every 3 years*

The CYPSC Workforce Development Team are hosting Staff Induction Sessions to welcome all new starters to our Service. It has been requested by our Corporate Director that all new starters from the last 6 months must attend one of these sessions.
The Induction Sessions occur on the second and fourth Monday of the month, are for 1 hour and are hosted via Microsoft Teams by Lou Bartlett, WFD Team Academy Lead, and Annie Draper, CYPSC Workforce Development Manager.
If you are already confirmed on to an induction session your booking will be transferred to CPD Online for you.
If you are a new Manager you will be invited for an extra 1 hour at the end of the session to gain extra information relevant to your Management role. |

This online event will be an opportunity for early years teachers to discuss their assessment knowledge of children.
Attendees will experience a mixture of presentations, activity learning tasks and small group discussions.
Each session will have a specific focus on an area of learning from the reformed EYFS.
Attendees will become familiar with national exemplification materials, development matters and the EYFS profile handbook.

In keeping with the national ELSA model, ELSAs require regular supervision from an Educational Psychologist in order to ensure:-
safe practice high standards planning and evaluation
ELSA Supervision is a requirement to maintain registration on the BCP Council list of registered ELSAs. ELSAs can enrol for the most convenient group but will be expected to remain with this group and attend ALL six sessions. |
