This course is aimed at both teachers and teaching assistants. It explores why different specific learning difficulties make it harder for some children to learn about numbers and reviews the current research and understanding of
dyscalculia. The course offers practical advice for staff working with children who are experiencing difficulty with maths. This includes strategies for whole class teaching as well as for individual or group intervention.
