The 5 Point Scale was developed by Kari Dunn Buron and is a visual system that can help to organise a persons thinking when working through difficult situations which require social understanding. For young people with autism this can include misunderstanding and inability to understand another's intentions; how to manipulate social situations; repairing social interactions.
