The performance gap between pupils from more and less advantaged backgrounds in England is one of the largest among OECD countries. Research shows that involving parents in their children's education is critical to their success.
This session will explore potential solutions including addressing low expectations for children from disadvantaged backgrounds and the best use of support strategies in schools, including the development of family and support networks. |
