Event Description This event is an interactive online event for adult social care staff working in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area. Suitable for care staff, support and administration staff, unregistered staff, and anyone working in ASC interested in promoting good practise in equality and diversity.
NOTE FOR BCP ASC COUNCIL STAFF: This course is not mandatory. The mandatory equality training is on i-learn and is called Equality in the Workplace.

Course Aim: To provide general awareness of equality and diversity in adult social care settings.

This course will be delivered via Zoom/MS Teams. A Zoom/MS Teams training link email will be sent out to confirmed delegates a few days before the course starts. The link will be emailed to the email address that is on their CPD Online account. If the link needs to be emailed to a different email address, please include this in the ‘special requirements' box when requesting a place.

If confirmed delegates have not received the Zoom/MS Teams training link email before 30 minutes of the advertised start time, please contact sctraining@bcpcouncil.gov.uk.

*The 5 attachments provide important information for delegates accessing this training and are helpful to read prior to booking.
*If your organisation's terms of payment require a purchase order, please enter the PO number in the box marked ‘Special requirements' when making your booking.
*Due to training time constraints and our e-learning training protocol (attached) confirmed delegates need to allow enough time (at least 15 mins) to log on to Zoom/MS Teams to be ready for the course to start promptly at the published start time, when the session will be locked. Late arrivals and delegates that do not have the necessary IT equipment to participate fully, will not be able to join the session and their space will be charged for. They will need to rebook on a future date.
*We will charge a full course fee for any confirmed delegate who gives less than seven calendar days' notice of a cancellation, or who does not attend on the day of the course.
