Event Description This course is for Early Years SENCos and deputy SENCos working in Early Years Ofsted registered settings, including childminders, wanting to gain a DfE recognised qualification and recognition for their role as an Early Years SENCo.

Criteria to attend: Practitioners must hold a level 3 qualification or be working towards a level 3 qualification

The course will:
* Develop confidence and knowledge about effective SEND provision
* Provide the skills to lead and co-ordinate SEND in the setting
* Enable Early Years SENCos to be capable and confident
* Provide the skills for effective support for children and families and colleagues
* Evidence the settings' commitment to supporting children with SEND.

Delegates will gain the Certsey L3 Certificate for Special Educational Needs Coordinators in the Early Years

Students MUST attend all sessions, complete all the required course tasks including registering for an account with the Eastern Partnership Board, assignments must be completed and submitted online and be available for external assessment. 
Event Outcomes Practitioners develop the knowledge, understanding and skills to be an effective early years SENCO and ensure SEND children in their setting make progress and meet their potential.

Event Notes Once your place is confirmed on CPD, you will be sent an email and instructions to register your place with the Eastern Partnership Board so that you can access the online portal and have an assessor allocated........it is important that you complete your registration before 1st October 2021.
