Event Description This training will help participants to develop their confidence and increase their knowledge and understanding in recording safeguarding information effectively. They will explore the following learning points:

- How to use the paperwork to record effectively
- What makes effective recording
- Role and responsibilities of the Designated Safeguarding Lead
- Who to go to for support

You will receive pre-course work to complete before the event starts. Please print off if possible, or have it available to see on your screens on the day.

All course materials, and the link to attend, will be emailed to your CPD account email as used for your booking - this email will be sent from Jackie Real. Please keep this email safe as your CPD leader will not get a copy. Check your spam/junk folder if required.

We are unable to accept bookings less than 2 days before the event. Closing date for bookings is 1 July 2021.

Event Notes As this is a virtual training event it is the attendee's responsibility to provide their own refreshments, pen and paper as needed. You will need access to appropriate ICT equipment but use of smartphones is not recommended. We are not responsible for loss of signal or technical issues with your equipment. It is essential that you complete pre-course work in advance of the event.
