Event Description An essential half-day course for staff who have attended either a one-day Safeguarding Adults Awareness course or refresher 3 years ago.
Staff that have not attended a refresher in the last 4 years are advised to attend Safeguarding Adults Awareness again.

Course Aims: To ensure staff continue to be aware of their current roles and responsibilities within the Pan-Dorset Multi-Agency Safeguarding Adults Policy and Procedure.

This session will be run virtually and can be accessed at work or from home. The following is required to participate fully in this session:

•An online device (with webcam/speakers/mic) plus a reliable broadband/wi-fi connection

• A quiet area

Delegates will be emailed a link to join the session closer to the course date. The link will be emailed to the email address that is on their CPD Online account. If the link needs to be emailed to a personal email address please include this in the ‘special requirements' box when requesting a place.

Delegates need to allow enough time to log on and to be ready for the course to start promptly after which it will be locked. Any late arrivals will not be able to enter.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: If a delegate does not have the necessary IT equipment to participate fully, is late logging on to a session or is unable to participate on the day, we will ask them to rebook on a future date.

Event Charges Notes The course fee for Non-Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole (BCP) staff is £40 per delegate. The course is subsidised for staff in BCP Adult Social Care - Services, and Commissioning The course fee for other BCP service units is £40 per delegate.
