MUST have at least one year post qualified work experience in ASC
MUST have completed ASYE if a Social Worker

Pre requisites are now:
Completed Essential Adults Safeguarding Skills training (or refresher if appropriate)
Completed Safeguarding Children E-Learning module on I-Learn
Read the current Safeguarding Policy and Procedures
Shadowed a safeguarding enquiry


We will not confirm places immediately. CPD online is usually a first come first served system, however we are aware that there are needs in specific teams and localities and therefore will confirm places in due course as guided by Statutory Service Manager in terms of operational priority.

Delegates will be expected to complete Domestic Abuse, MARRAC and MAPPA training also (this is not always possible before the course starts).

To understand your role as a Safeguarding Adults Practitioner (SAP). Delegates complete a portfolio.Delegates can purchase lunch from the hotel at their own cost or bring their own. This course needs to be updated annually.
