Event Description The Care Quality Commission (CQC) requires care providers to have a formal system to assess staff competence to administer medication. In this workshop we will assess your competence to assess others administering a range of common dosage forms.

YOU MUST COMPLETE THE WHOLE WORKSHOP

We are currently running this as a blended course featuring the following:

• An online course covering how to administer medicines systematically
• An online virtual medicines round competence assessment
• Two x 2 hour live webinars on 25th November & 2nd December 2021
• A final online assessment

The following is required to participate fully in this session:
•An online device (with webcam/speakers/mic) plus a reliable broadband/wi-fi connection
• A quiet area
Delegates will be emailed a link to join the session closer to the course date. The link will be emailed to the email address that is on their CPD Online account. If the link needs to be emailed to a personal email address please include this in the ‘special requirements' box when requesting a place.
Delegates need to allow enough time to log on and to be ready for the course to start promptly after which it will be locked. Any late arrivals will not be able to enter.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: If a delegate does not have the necessary IT equipment to participate fully, is late logging on to a session or is unable to participate on the day, we will ask them to rebook on a future date.
