Event Description World Sepsis Day is held on 13th September every year and is an opportunity for people to unite to fight against Sepsis as it accounts for at least 11 million deaths worldwide annually.

This half day training (2.5 hours) is for Registered Nurses, carers, care and social work staff. It aims to give candidates the knowledge and understanding of how to identify when a client has sepsis and how to respond to the red flags that are presented.

This session will be run virtually via ZOOM due to the inability to run face-to-face courses and can be accessed at work or from home.

The following is required to participate fully in this session: An online device with web cam/speakers/mic, A reliable broadband/wi-fi connection,
A quiet area

Delegates will be emailed a link to join the session closer to the course date. The link will be emailed to the email address that is on their CPD Online account. If the link needs to be emailed to a personal email address, please include this in the ‘Special Requirements' box when requesting a place.

Delegates need to allow enough time to log on to be ready for
the course to start promptly on time, when it will be locked. Any late
arrivals will not be able to enter the training session.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: If you do not have the necessary IT
equipment to participate fully, are late logging on to a session or are unable to participate on the day, then please cancel this booking on CPD Online. Please re-book on to a future date.
