Event Description This course will provide the knowledge required by all those who work with children in Early Years provisions of their safeguarding roles and responsibilities towards those in their care, especially regarding the signs and symptoms of abuse, the legal framework and making a referral.

This course is open to registered childminders, practitioners working in group settings across BCP and EYFS staff working in BCP schools.

Validity: must be refreshed at least every three years (if you are from a school run provision, this will be every two years)

This course is being held over two evenings. You must attend both sessions in full in order to receive your certificate. You will receive pre-course event documents that need to be completed before the event - please read the event notes below. 
Event Outcomes The outcomes from this course cover current legislation and both national and local safeguarding children guidance and procedures.
