Event Description BCP Community Safety Team offer a 90 minutes, virtual awareness training session for practitioners and individuals on the frontline in their communities who are most likely to encounter human trafficking or slavery.

We will be able to provide an insight into what is available for victims in Dorset.
Human trafficking is the fastest growing crime globally because for some the risk is low but the rewards are high. Very few people who recruit, traffic or exploit people are brought to justice. If you purchase a man, woman or child you can exploit them many times over.

Event Outcomes At the end of the course the participants will be able to:
- identify cases of human trafficking and/or modern day slavery
- identify risk
- understand the reporting process for dealing with a disclosure and the National Referral Mechanism
- understand the support available for victims
Course Cost £ 0
