Event Description This workshop is part of the Mandatory Practice Fundamentals Programme. These sessions are targeted for BCP Children's Services frontline teams doing Direct Work with Children, Young People and Families.

This 1.5 hour course is for all Children's Services Managers and is designed to increase staff's knowledge and understanding of the Complaints Procedures under the relevant legislation.

Please bring the following information with you to the training to be used in group discussion;

What your hopes for the training are, what do you want to find out?

What do you find hardest about replying to a complaint? 
Event Outcomes - To clarify the different stages / processes within the procedure
- To consider good practice in considering complaints and the responses to complaints
- To look at resolution and redress issues
- To clarify the front line managers' roles
- To consider how the service learns from complaints
