Event Description |
This interactive and hands-on workshop focusses on strategies to support reluctant writers to get their ideas down on paper in a range of subject settings and a range of genre, including report/recount, discussion/persuasion and fiction . The strategies will reduce cognitive overload and provide practical solutions to address the three key reasons why writing can be so difficult for some learners. |
Event Outcomes |
Group based multi-sensory activities, ideal for whole class and small group settings will be modelled, together with innovative ways to make use of frameworks and scaffolds. |
