Event Description FOR ALL PRACTITIONERS WHO WORK IN BOURNEMOUTH, CHRISTCHURCH OR POOLE WITH CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES.

A one day multi agency course that will explore the issue of Domestic Abuse. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of the issue and explore methods of responding to it.

Development Programme. Spare spaces can be offered to practitioners from neighbouring Authorities at the full cost of £30 Invoices: Organisations will be invoiced for the cost of their staff attending this training at point of confirmed booking.

BOOKINGS MUST PROVIDE PURCHASE ORDER NUMBER AND INVOICE ADDRESS.

Allocation Limitations: Limited to number of practitioners per organisation: 4


All cancellations MUST be made using CPD online and MUST be received ten working days prior to the event. Please ensure that the reason for the cancellation is clearly stated. No other forms of cancellation are accepted.

Event Outcomes By the end of the session participants will have had the opportunity to learn about and explore:

* The local picture of Domestic Abuse
* How to identify and respond to Domestic Abuse
* The impact of Domestic Abuse on victims and the challenges in recovering
* Local referral pathways and support services including MARAC 
Course Cost £ 10 
Event Charges Notes Available for all Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole practitioners at the subsidised rate of £10, who work with children, young people and their families to improve their outcomes.(full cost would be £30) Terms and Conditions apply to this event, including late cancellation and non-attendance charges.
