Event Description This training event is for all practitioners who work with bilingual children, young people and their families. The session will provide information around bilingualism, cultural differences and overcoming barriers when working with bilingual families. It will also provide useful tips for professionals working with interpreters.

The trainer is Monika Pardo who is the EYFS Quality and Improvement Partner for BCP Council. Monika has an MA in teaching and Postgraduate Certificate in Bilingualism in Education from Birmingham University. Monika's career covers teaching, training, consultancy in the early years and foundation stage, primary and secondary phases.
